Dear Church Family,

The elders have been deliberating for some time about taking additional steps to keep everyone safe during the worship service.  It has been with great satisfaction that we noticed since we have returned to in-person services how much our members want to worship together, be close to one another and love on each other.  However, with the uptick in COVID cases in the last few weeks, this is the appropriate time to put the following measures in place:

  1.  Beginning this coming Sunday, every other pew will be taped off.  We ask that you don’t sit on those pews.  Please maintain at least 6 feet of distance from anyone not in your household while being seated in the auditorium.
  2. The elders request that you wear a mask while in the building and during the worship service.  We understand that masks can be slightly uncomfortable and will to some degree affect the singing but the risk of infecting others is just too great.
  3. Please exit the building as soon as services are over.  Outside in the parking lot is a safer environment for talking and socializing while maintaining a safe distance.  Please refrain from hugging, shaking hands, or other forms of close contact.

We recognize that this will be an adjustment but the safety of everyone in the congregation is of great concern.  Of course, the live stream service is available to anyone who doesn’t feel safe attending in person or is uncomfortable with the above protocols.  We love you all and do not want to put anyone’s health in jeopardy.  We can fully worship our Lord in as safe of an environment as is feasible.

God bless,

Bill, Duvan, Jose and Dunn
